Italy-China: a partnership for cultural heritage

An agreement between the National Research Council (Cnr) and the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage (Cach) has been recently signed in Rome. It aims at strengthening cooperation in scientific research and technological development between Italy and China, in order to promote and support researchers in the fields of mutual interest. Forms of cooperation within this agreement are joint research projects and connected exchange of scientists.

In this context the Italian-Chinese Conference 'Archaeology and the City. Preserving enhancing interpreting' was held. Organized by Cnr-Institute for the Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage, the meeting gathered leading experts of the two institutions.
