E-education: what‘s new?

E-Learning has been adopted and endorsed by some of the most prestigious universities. Stanford, Harvard and Mit are leading the way with highly successful online course programs, congruent with a prominent movement towards universal access to quality information and education. Eleot 2014 is the first international conference on e-Learning, e-Education and online Training. It will be held on September 18-20 in Bethesda, Maryland, United States. The meeting, whose technical program chair is Alberto Bucciero, technologist at Cnr-Institute forArchaeological and Monumental Heritage (Ibam), will focus on the most progressive ideas of this field.

Articles will focus on several aspects such as accessibility and usability of web-based instruction in the classroom, collaborative learning and social networks, mobile learning, standards and infrastructures, student engagement, teaching/educational models, virtual learning environments.

Full paper submission deadline is 1 April 2014.
